As I mentioned in my previous post, I found our last attorney online. I then went to the firm’s website and I liked its logo, ‘Every One Deserves a Second Chance’. Wow, I thought that I made a great pick. What it should have said was ‘Every Attorney Deserves a Second Chance’.
The website said ‘When you’re headed for criminal court in central Florida, you are in for a fight. You want a tough legal defense, you want the best possible outcome and you want an Orlando criminal defense attorney who knows how to get results in court: a criminal lawyer who knows the local courts and what can be done with an effective defense strategy’.
It also said, ‘At The ——- Law Firm, each of our Orlando criminal defense attorneys has more than 10 years of criminal law experience. No case is too tough for us. We are former prosecutors and former public defenders with extensive trial experience. We know how to review and craft a case for a judge or a jury and we know how to get results! Put our experience to work for you. We are passionate about protecting your rights and achieving the best possible outcome for your criminal charge’.
What really caught my eye was the following caption, ‘our Orlando attorneys are experienced in dealing with those who find themselves arrested or facing criminal charges for the first time. Our firm can protect your constitutional rights, and defend your case to obtain the best possible outcome on your behalf. We know that everyone makes mistakes, and we are committed to providing you with expert, non-judgmental representation. Our only goal is to defend you during this difficult time.
If only that was true. If only the attorney lived up to half of the firm’s hype. If only he was not in bed with the previous lady attorney and the prosecution. If only. If only. If only.
My son was never in trouble before. At that time, he did not even have a traffic ticket. What happened? What’s really going on?????
